Lake Washington Overlook
With a large existing garden the new homeowner was looking to add rainwater harvesting, edible plantings and raised beds to annual vegetable gardening. We installed three separate cisterns to maximize the RainWise rebate and create a total rainwater capacity of 890 gals. Juniper was utilized for the large raised beds for its natural rot resistance and rustic aesthetics. A blend of native and edible species were planted with a heavy laver of arbor chips and cardboard to naturally suppress weeds.
