Water catchment with Cisterns

A cistern is a large above-ground container used to collect roof water. It is similar to a rain barrel and but can hold 200 or more gallons. During the winter, cisterns store rain temporarily to reduce the amount of water entering the sewer system during a storm surge. Then slowly release the water back into the sewer system. In the summer the water can be stored and used for watering.

Do you qualify for a Cistern to side sewer only?

Cisterns need to be installed at or near your existing side sewer due to living near an excessive slope.
