North Seattle Permaculture Paradise
A total property makeover with a large backyard patio, two cistern system, fruit tree guilds and a large rain garden. Two 530 gal cisterns were installed in series and combined to a single 265 gal cistern that then overflowed into a front yard rain garden. This system captured the whole roof of 1590 sqft and manages 23,700 gal annually. The plantings included a plum tree guild, raspberry patch, blue berries, and mushroom inoculated logs.
